Join us for sewing classes for kids and adults right here in Davis County, Utah! Our Costume Classes will take your sewing to the next level. These classes will give you the tools to feel more confident at the sewing machine and as an artist. Be ready to pattern, drape and create for the runway!

SEWING I (Mondays)
$65/month + $30 Materials Fee + $40 New Student Reg. Fee
MONDAY 10:30-12:00pm
Ages 7-13
In this level 1 course, we’ll start with the basics of hand sewing and work our way onto the machine. Once on the machine, students will be able to pick their project based on the skillset we’re working on. Possible projects include pin cushions, aprons, pillows, masks, and tote bags. The materials fee covers one project, fabric choices will be limited. Students will need a sewing kit that includes all the needed tools for their level. Students will be expected to bring in their own kits, based on our list. Repeat students can choose to start on a project to master a new skill or repeat the instruction to further grasp new skills.

HOMESCHOOL SEWING I

Ages 7-14

COSTUME DESIGN & COnSTRUCTION CLASS
$65/month + $30 Material Fee (one-time) + $40 New Student Registration Fee
thursday 5:00-6:30pm
Ages 10-18
From concept to the stage learn how a costume comes to be. In this class we will study how the line, color, and texture of costumes enhances the storytelling ability of characters on stage. Students will complete a simple sewing project to experience the process of creation. Students who have already taken the workshop are encouraged to continue with this course through the spring. Materials fee covers everything needed for the class, if there are specific fabrics that the students want to use they will need to purchase those.

$35/month (No Registration Fee)
THURSDAY 7:00-8:30pm
Ages 13-Adults
Attention all cosplayers, costume designers, clothing builders! Come join us at our shop to build any project you are working on. With hands-on expert assistance, your project will be ready for the runway! You bring your own fabric & notions needed for your project. We have several machines, sergers, mannequins, cutting boards, scissors, workspace, irons, thread, pins & an incredible sewing master ready to coach you through your next big idea.
Space is limited to 4 people per lab day, if we fill we will add more days.
